Built for children. Controlled by parents.
The short version of how Professor Paws treats your child and your child's data. The full details are in the Privacy Policy.
The checklist
- Parent-created accounts
A parent creates the account and controls it. Children cannot make purchases.
- No ads
- No social features
No friends, messages, sharing or public profiles.
- No open-ended AI chat
The AI writes the lesson; arithmetic is checked by code and there is no chat box anywhere in the app.
- No third-party ad tracking
- Children's data never sold
Not sold, not shared for advertising.
- Children's data never used to train AI
Your child's schoolwork and progress are not used to train AI.
- Clear deletion controls
Delete a child's profile and all learning data from inside the app: Parent area → Edit Child → Delete child data.
- Handwriting practice never leaves the device
Tracing and writing strokes stay on the iPad.
What we collect about your child
The minimum a learning coach needs: a parent email, a nickname, your child's age, the schoolwork you enter, and learning progress. (When homework photos arrive, they are processed to read the task and not stored in your child's profile.)
Data is stored on servers in the United States.
If something looks wrong
There's a report button right in the lesson, and a human answers hello@playprofessorpaws.com.
